India Business Visa

A Business Visa is granted to those who do any business in India, such as making sales or establishing contacts on behalf of a company outside of India. Business visas may be valid for 6 months to one year or more with single or multiple entries. Irrespective of the duration of validity of visa, on each visit maximum period of stay in India is limited to 6 months (180 days) only. Please note the validity of the visa is effective from the date of issue. Those who are applying to work for an Indian company should apply for an Employment Visa.

As all visas are issued at the discretion of Indian High Commission. India Visa Company can not be held responsible for any losses that may occur due to delays in the application process. Please take this into account when making your travel plans.

Indian Business Visa Details
Processing Time:	Approx. 7 Working Days for UK passports. Non UK passports can take more than 15 days.
Embassy Fees:	£67.20 - 6 months and £92.20 - 1 Year
Handling Fees:	£30 Per Visa
Requirements:	Passport (Valid for at least 6 months) 1 x Online India Visa Form (This should be completed as in step 2 ) 2 Photos – 50mm x 50mm. This is a different size to a normal passport photo and can be done through selected photo shops. Call us and we can help in advising where these can be found. 1 x Declaration form (Step 3) 1 x Invitation letter (see additional information below for details)
Visa Validity:	Up to 6 Months (this is at the discretion of the Indian Embassy and could be less)
Additional Information:	Those of Sri Lankan or Bangladeshi origin can be processed but there may be delays. We do not process visas for those of Pakistani origin as there can be severe delays from the embassy in processing these. We can not offer the level of service we would like to in these cases so recommend you process your visa directly. An original signed letter from the company in UK explaining the nature of business and duration of visit. A signed Letter of invitation from an Indian company on their official company letter head clearly stating the purpose and duration for which visa is requested. Step 1: Complete the Online Indian Visa Application Form

The above link will take you to a form hosted by the Indian Government and not India Visa Company. Should you have any queries about this form please call us on 020 8582 1117 and we will be happy to help.

Help with completing the form:

Before completing the online form please read through the additional information section above.

Please do not leave out any information and complete the form accurately.
At the top of the form please select "UK-London" as your Indian mission as our applications are processed through here. Selecting any other mission could delay your visa application.
Once completed click on "Print form". This will create a PDF file that you will need to print. Please sign both of the pages using black ink as we will not be able to accept applications signed in any other colour.
Please sign both pages of the form in BLACK INK. Page 1 (near top of page, under the photo box) and Page 2 (at the end of the form).

Step 2: Please print, complete and sign the declaration formin black ink.

Step 3: Download and complete the Order Form / Check List

Step 4:

Either drop your completed form, passport photos (remember photos should be 50mm x 50mm) and passport to anyone of our branches it is advisable to pre book an appointment to avoid waiting. (click here for addresses).

Visa applications paid by cheque will only be sent to the embassy after the cheque has been processed by our bank.
